- Pedro Jorba Monteggia fracture. Reduction of the ulna under anesthesia, which should reduce the radial head. If not, open reduction of both.
- Pravin Kanabar Is it Montegia fracture dislocation. We must have a true A.P. and lateral views of elbow.
- Shivendra Sinha attempt closed reduction for both radial head and ulna under c-arm by manual traction and counter traction
- Pedro Jorba I agree that it would be desirable to see a lateral elbow, but the diagnosis of Monteggia can be made with the available images; the radial head is clearly dislocated in the first photo
- Gopal Goel This is GS # ulna . Needs Osteoclasis under GA and Cast immobilization. There is no radial head dislocation as can be judged by its relation to capitullum which is constant
- Pedro Jorba The radial axis doesn’t intersect the center of the capitellar nucleus; it’s a Monteggia
- Tapas Talukdar Paediatric Monteggia/ Montrggia equovalent. Close reduction and k wire. k wire should pierce the cortex of distal fragment. No need to reconstruct annular lig. Radial head will reduce spontaniously.
